This week on Tactical Thursdays … fundraising from Baby Boomers!

How well do you know the attitudes, beliefs and values of your biggest group of donors?

The vast majority of charitable giving coming from donors over the age of 65. And while the Greatest Generation is still giving, it’s more likely that your ‘average donor’ is a Baby Boomer.

If you want to successfully connect with these donors, you should understand what drives their giving and what pressures are impacting their day-to-day lives.

Which is why I’m so thrilled Patrick Schmitt is coming by Tactical Thursdays this week to take a deep dive into the Baby Boomer generation.

Patrick will share data and insights into the Baby Boomer approach to giving, and strategies and tactics to help you connect with them on a deeper level. All with the goal of helping you inspire them to do greater things for your organization and your community.

And truthfully, as a Gen X fundraiser who dearly loves his Boomer parents, aunts and uncles, I’m super excited to get Patrick’s take on what makes the people I love tick 🙂
