Day three — how ya feelin’?

Here’s today’s task: Craft a social media post or a website feature that publicly thanks your donors.

When you’re done, share the copy and content in the comments below.  And then reply to a post or two from your peers.

Not sure where to start?  Here’s a couple of examples for you to react to and customize!

    1. Gratitude Post

🌟 We are overwhelmed with gratitude! Thanks to your generous donations, [Organization Name] can continue to [specific impact, e.g., ‘provide meals to families in need’]. Your support lights the way for a brighter future.

    2. Impact Highlight

Because of you, we’ve reached a new milestone! 🎉 [Insert specific achievement, e.g., ‘1000 trees planted this year’]. Donations from our generous donors (people like you!) have made this possible. Thank you for believing!

    3. Visual Thank You

[Insert a photo related to your cause] This picture captures more than a moment; it represents hope, thanks to your support. To all our donors, thank you for making moments like these possible.

    4. Behind-the-Scenes Look

[Insert behind-the-scenes photo] Every donation helps us get one step closer to [Insert a mission goal or outcome]. Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at the work your support enables us to do. Thank you for being part of our journey!

    5. Creative Thank You Graphic

[Insert a creative graphic with ‘Thank You’ message] A picture is worth a thousand words, but all we need is two: Thank You. Your support means everything to us and those we serve.

    6. Interactive Gratitude Post

We want to hear from you! If you’re a donor to [Insert your organization Name], drop a 💖 in the comments to let us know. We’d love to personally thank each and every one of you for your generosity.

We create a variety of these for different seasons and use them when donors hold birthday fundraisers on FB. It’s fun!

One quick plug for Canva.com — if you haven’t explored Canva, posts like this can be a great reason to dive in. It’s super simple to create a template and come back to it time and again, customizing it as you need to. I love using Canva for social media posts. What are some other tools you use?
