I stepped into the world of nonprofits, armed with nothing but passion and a title: Executive Director. That was me, over 20 years ago, diving headfirst into the deep end of a small nonprofit. I had no clue about fundraising, but boy did I know how to tell a good story.

I quickly discovered that the secret sauce to fundraising wasn’t a secret at all. It was storytelling. And just like that, my journey as a storytelling coach began. Fast forward to today, and I’ve worn many hats – strategist, event planner, and most importantly, a coach.

Through laughter, tears, and countless cups of coffee, I’ve guided hundreds in crafting their narratives. From environmental warriors to advocates for the arts, I’ve worked with nonprofits of every shape and size. Each story is a new adventure, a chance to change the world one tale at a time.

And you know what? I absolutely love what I do. There’s nothing quite like seeing the spark in someone’s eyes when they finally nail their story.
