Who I am |
I am a retired United Methodist clergy after 31 years in the local church. I started my position in August 2017. Pinnacle Living is a relational partner to the Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. I am married to Ella Mae. We have two children – Tabitha and Rigsby. We have four grandchildren – Taylor, Tori, William, and Mason. We have two great-grandchildren – Navy and Nash.
I am a one-person department serving four senior living retirement communities throughout Virginia. I am excited every day because every day is different. I thrive off of meeting people and getting to know them.

My Experience |
My skills from pastoral ministry have really served me well as I meet residents. To ask open ended questions and then sit back and listen to their stories is such an honor. I truly am a people person. I have never met a stranger.
I do not mind asking people for money. I find it easy to lay out a story offering details and beneficiaries. Then offer a figure of support and allow the person time to digest and consider my proposal. I approach each ask like joining a club – some will say yes, and some will say no. Either way is fine.
